Your Body Is Sounding the Alarm

The tension in your shoulders. The brain fog at 2pm that no amount of coffee fixes. The headaches that have become so regular you stopped mentioning them. These are not inconveniences to push through. These are alarms. And you have been hitting snooze for months.

Your body communicates through symptoms. It does not have a voice, so it uses sensations. Tension is the language of stress held too long. Fog is the language of a brain that has not had adequate rest. The short fuse that appeared out of nowhere is the language of a nervous system running on reserves.

We have been trained to override these signals. To medicate them, caffeinate through them, or simply ignore them and keep going. But suppressing an alarm does not eliminate the fire. It just means the fire burns unchecked while you pretend everything is fine.

These are not random symptoms. They are a pattern. And the pattern has a diagnosis: chronic under-rest. Not the dramatic kind that lands you in a hospital. The slow-burn kind that gradually degrades your quality of life until you cannot remember what feeling good actually felt like.

Stop ignoring the alarms. They are not going to stop on their own. They will only get louder. Your body has been trying to tell you something for a long time. The question is whether you will listen today or wait until the alarm becomes a siren.
