The Sunday Reset

How you spend Sunday evening determines the quality of your entire week. Not Monday morning. Sunday evening. Because by Monday morning, the week is already in motion. Decisions are being demanded. Emails are arriving. The pace is set. If you enter that pace already frantic, already behind, already scrambling, you will carry that energy through every interaction until Friday.

The Sunday Reset is the antidote. It is a ninety-minute ritual, or shorter if you want, that sets the tone for everything that follows. Here is the framework: review your week ahead and identify the three things that actually matter. Not the twenty things on the list. The three that will move the needle.

Then cancel or delegate whatever you reasonably can from the rest. Not all of it. Enough of it to create breathing room in at least two of your five workdays. Prep meals or at least plan them so that weeknight dinners are not another decision to make while depleted. Lay out clothes if that helps. Go to bed by ten.

Monday morning, instead of scrambling, you are resting in preparation. You know what matters. You have removed what does not. Your body is rested because you slept enough. The week has already been simplified before it starts.

The Sunday Reset is not about productivity. It is about peace. The peace of entering a week with a plan instead of a panic. Do you have a Sunday reset? If not, this Sunday is the one to start.
